Paul Normandin

Paul Normandin has been a real estate professional for over thirty years. With an extensive background in real estate brokerage, development and management, Paul is widely recognized as being one of the most trusted and knowledgeable real estate advisors in the Montreal office market.

BACKROUND
EXPERIENCE

Paul began his career in 1977 as a consultant and later as a manager of the Montreal office for a national brokerage firm. His first major mandate was the leasing of Place Mercantile – a 500,000 SF office building in the downtown core.

He subsequently joined the Alexis Nihon Corporation, a major commercial Real Estate Company as Vice President. In that role he was responsible for the development and leasing of Place Alexis Nihon in Westmount and the Cavendish Corporate Centre in Ville St-Laurent.

He founded a real estate brokerage firm in 1990, which specialized in tenant representation. He merged his firm with Colliers in 1999.

At Colliers, Paul was involved in many of the major transactions in the Montreal area as a tenant representative.

In 2012, Paul formed PLN Agence Immobilière which offers real estate leasing, acquisition and disposal services to corporations and institutions.

Notably, PLN Agence Immobilière acted on behalf of the Chambre des Notaires du Québec for the acquisition of its head office facility located in downtown Montreal and most recently represented Rio Tinto for the disposition of excess space in the Tour Deloitte.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Paul has been involved with the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation since 1995. He has been a Board Member of the Foundation from 2000 to 2017.

For over a decade, he was Chairman of the Pedal for Kids event, raising over $14 million for The Children’s Hospital Foundation. He continues to raise funds as honorary Chairman of Pedal for Kids.

Paul is also the recipient of the National Bank of Canada Award 2017 for Excellence in Community Engagement and Volunteerism.
